Catherine and Matt Luderer, Estate Agents at Ewing & Associates Sotheby’s International Realty in Calabasas, represent single family and estate homes throughout the San Fernando Valley and the West Side of Los Angeles. A native of the Los Angeles Westside, Catherine possesses a mastery of the Westside areas like Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Brentwood, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills. Catherine met Matt, a San Fernando Valley native, at Loyola Marymount University where she studied Theater & Performing Arts in the Liberal Arts Department and he earned his Marketing Degree in the Business School. Cat & Matt have been married for 12 years and have had five beautiful daughters. It their philosophy in marriage that transfers into their business goal to bring a balance of courtesy, friendship, and respect accompanied by skill, ingenuity and the art of negotiation.
Catherine, the baby of six, comes from a large family, some of whom are involved in the wine making and vineyard industry. This family tradition of toiling the soil, cultivating the land, and producing fine wines lends to her innate ability to identify vineyard and estate properties for her niche clients. With a multitude of experience in residential and luxury market real estate, Catherine possesses an expansive knowledge of the most elite areas of Southern California. Having previously worked at Prudential California Realty in Calabasas, Catherine joined Ewing & Associates Sotheby's International Realty when it opened in Calabasas in 2005. There she has enjoyed a productive and successful business alongside her husband and partner, Matt.
Matt spent the last decade working as an International Telecommunications executive, dealing with such global communications giants as AT&T, MCI, Sprint and Qwest. Well traveled in this industry, his background provides professional and international experience. He joins the real estate profession from this highly competitive field with a solid reputation of dedication, quality service and professionalism. He brings these ideals to his real estate business.
Firm believers in their faith and community, Cat, Matt, and their five daughters, are very active in their parish and community. They support many charities such as the Autism Society of America, an organization that strives in “Improving the lives of all affected by Autism”, CAN (Cure Autism Now) The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, Angel's Way (a center for homeless, pregnant mothers) and Children's Hospital. In addition, they are involved in the Center for Autism at UCLA Medical Center (CART) in Los Angeles which provides a research program dedicated to understanding the origins of social, communicative, and language deficits demonstrated by individuals with autism.
Together they make a dynamic team bringing skill, creativity, knowledge, attentiveness and personality to each client; one at a time. When not focusing on real estate, they enjoy traveling, sporting events, fine dining & wines, and spending time with their beautiful girls, Mackenzie, Annie, Gracie, Kate & Chloe.
